On one side you need to identify the challenges posed by increasing global population numbers (in terms of Living Standards/Poverty, Health Risks & Environmental Effects) and on the other side, you should be examining potential solutions to these problems.

Explain Canadian involvement in the flashpoints of the Cold War, and assess its impact on Canadian-American relations.

Your Cold War charts should have some good info to assist you in writing this essay. All relevant textbook readings are in Ch.6: pp.131-147
